To achieve the best results and a flawless look, we kindly ask that each lady, scheduled for hairstyling and/or makeup, review the following guidelines:
Make sure you have a good night’s sleep before the wedding day
Your hair needs to be washed the day before the wedding
Do not use a hair straightener, curling iron or any other type of heat treatment prior to your visit
Do not apply styling products such as mousse, hairspray, oil or hair creams
Ensure your hair is completely dry before your appointment
If you have extensions or accessories you wish to use, bring them to the trial session and on the wedding day
Let IvyLu know in advance if you have any scalp sensitivities or allergies
Stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep for a fresh, glowing complexion
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face
Moisturize your skin in the morning, but avoid heavy or oily creams
If needed, groom your eyebrows a few days before the event
Exfoliate your skin the night before for a smoother makeup application
In order to prevent irritation, avoid trying new skincare products right before the wedding
Make sure your lips are well-hydrated. Apply lip balm regularly in the days before the wedding
